Rotarians and Lions unite to protect the Susquehanna River.

Updated: Oct 6, 2022

The Rotary E-Club of Global Trekkers supports the partnership of the Cooperstown Lions and Rotary Clubs in their effort to protect the Susquehanna River, the longest river on the East Coast of the United States. The Susquehanna River begins its 444 mile meandering flow from Otsego Lake at Cooperstown, New York into the Chesapeake Bay at Havre de Grace, Maryland. Rotary identified “Supporting Our Environment” as the seventh focus area for the Rotary Foundation. This year's event, the fifth annual Susquehanna River clean-up, is scheduled for Saturday, July 30, 2022.
